If you would like to join us, either on the shooting line or through a training course, our Secretary will be happy to provide details.

Club Fixture lists

Summer is April to September, winter is October to March.

All shooting events are classed as “competition” days which allows archers to shoot for Club trophies and awards, provided you submit a suitably completed score sheet.

Winter 2018/19 (pdf, 75kb): outdoor at the field on Sundays and indoor at Kenley on Wednesday evenings.

Anyone wishing to submit scores for consideration as a county record or county ranking must comply with the rules**, below.

Frostbite matches: Warlingham has 3 recurve teams and 1 compound team entered for the Surrey and National postal leagues for 2018-19. Info can be found in links below (from late November to late March):

Trophies and medals are awarded for certain competitions. See the Awards page for the recent winners.

Members may also undertake the Club's "252" scheme - a way to challenge yourself to improve your shooting. This is particularly useful to newer Club members.

Classification (Jan 2019 - Excel) and handicaps (Jan 2019 - Excel)

Personal achievement awards (since 2011)

Some members may appear on the handicap list but not on the classifications list. This just reflects the way earlier handicaps are carried forward even if the archers submitted scores for less than 3 rounds.

The Surrey County Clout Championships (includes Open tournament: double, 1 way, with Tassel award)

The 2018 competition was held on Saturday, 18 August. It was a warm, cloudy day with a moderate, south westerly breeze.

This year’s event coincided with Biggin Hill’s Festival of Flight celebrating 100 years of the RAF. We were treated to the Red Arrows and WW2 planes flying overhead (see Photos)

Results: 2018;  2017 ;   2016. Previous years results are on the CSAA website

The 2019 competion will be on Saturday, 17 August. Entry form will be available March 2019.

The Club also holds clout shoots on Boxing Day and the Saturday closest to St. George’s day (the ‘Founders Day’ clout) - both shooting a single 1-way clout - from 10.30am. Any Surrey archer is welcome to attend these shoots: free to Club members, visiting archers are charged £1. A free practice shoot is also held on a Wednesday evening 10 days before the Surrey Clout - from 5.30pm. If you wish to be kept informed of clout events, contact the Club’s Clout Organiser.

The range is certificated by AGB as complying with safety requirements for clout shoots.

We regularly host CMO and Atkins archery clubs on the 1st Sunday of July to shoot an American round (juniors shoot a “St. Nicholas” round).

The 2018 shoot on 8 July was just like last year’s: blessed with a hot, sunny day with a northerly breeze.

The Away friendly is at Atkins (Epsom), usually on the 1st Sunday in October.
